Hastings ready for code switch

Man of Steel: Hastings

JACKSON Hastings, who was crowned Super League’s man of steel last October, is looking to make a cross-code switch.
Hastings, 24, capped three times by Great Britain despite being born in Australia, joined Wigan Warriors this year.
But Hastings, who qualifies to play for England through his grandmother, is looking to play Rugby Union.
A scrumhalf who also plays at standoff, he started his career in the NRL with the Sydney Roosters and Manly Sea Eagles before joining Salford City Reds.
Hastings has another year to run on his Warriors deal.
