BARGOED moved to within five points of Pontypool at the top of the Championship with a 40-23 win over Neath.
James Locke, Ronny Kynes, Rhys Buckley, Adam Powell, John Lavender and Alex Gardner-Key all went over at the Gnoll to secure a sixth consecutive bonus point win for the Blues.
Steff Jones sent over five conversions.
Tomi Antozzi and Luke Griffiths were the Neath try scorers. The latter converted the first try and also sent over three penalties.
Matthew Jones improved Griffiths’ score.
