Sorry apologists, but our suspicions were proved right

YOUR columnists are entitled to act as apologists for Saracens but this ignores the fact that part of your readership is made up of supporters of other Premiership clubs who utterly disagree with what the are saying.
A review of the posts on the Saracens forum, let alone a visit to the fora of other clubs, will show that most of us had been suspicious of Saracens’ behaviour for years and, when it was shown that they had indeed been cheating, we were almost unanimous in believing they should be punished.
