Rodwell ‘honoured’ to be asked to step in

SEVENS stalwart James Rodwell believes Eddie Jones will be able to harness one of the sharpest minds in rugby after recruiting Simon Amor as attack coach.
Amor will be stepping into the senior role for the Six Nations and then permanently after he has completed his duties with Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics this summer. For Rodwell, who has agreed to become England’s acting head coach for the World Sevens Series in Amor’s absence, the men’s senior team can find a new way of outsmarting their opponents under Scott Wisemantel’s successor.
