BRECON’S bid to become the first club to successfully defend the Specsavers National Plate is over after they were knocked out 13-7 by Newbridge in their quarter-final showdown.
Tries from Chris Davies and Anthony Symons, along with an Eamonn Rees penalty, won it for Newbridge.
