Devastated Ionians in salute to champion Hardy

HULL Ionians paid tribute to centre Billy Hardy who passed away just days after Christmas.
Hardy, 27, died suddenly at home on Saturday, December 28. It is understood he returned home from the gym feeling unwell before he died.
Hardy, right, made his name playing for Pocklington RUFC before joining Ionians in 2018 and playing an important role in winning the National 2 North title last season.
