FOLLOWING on from Colin Boag’s comments on the uneven playing field for Premiership sides when compared to the “richer” French clubs and the Irish sides with much larger playing squads than their English rivals.
With a risk of joining him in the “grumpy old man club” – a position in which I am quite comfortable – I would agree with his cynicism regarding the handling, punishing and now reviewing of the salary cap breach, especially the lack of information regarding the initial investigations findings and the reason or of the review.
