Jack’s the Lad as Drovers battle to draw

JACK Maynard’s 83rdminute penalty rescued a dramatic draw for Llandovery as Carmarthen Quins lost more ground on Cardiff at the top.
The Drovers were desperate to avoid a second straight home Christmas defeat and although they didn’t win, Euros Evans’ side did earn share of the spoils.
Llandovery overturned a 10-0 half-time deficit to level the scores through a try from lock Joe Powell and a conversion and penalty from fly-half Maynard.
Quins fly-half Steff Marshall then looked like he had broken home hearts with a penalty, but Maynard had the last laugh.
