Ace Patchell on track for early return

RHYS Patchell has handed Scarlets and Wales a fitness boost with the fly-half set to return to action in the new year.
The 26-year-old looked as if he would be sidelined until after the Six Nations after suffering a serious shoulder injury in the Rugby World Cup bronze medal match against New Zealand.
But Patchell is now on track to return in time for the tournament and add his weight to Brad Mooar’s bright start at the Scarlets following successful surgery.
