BORDEAUX Begles remain unbeaten in Pool 3 after a bonus-point victory over winless Agen.
After an early Agen penalty, Seta Tamanivalu got Bordeaux off and running by collecting a ball that had ricocheted off the post to touch down.
Santiago Cordero added a second try but a further Agen penalty via Leo Berdeu’s boot for a 14-6 halftime lead. That was as close as it got though, as Clement Meynadier capitalised on a quick-thinking tap penalty to go over in the first minute of the second half.
