Fleming finishes with try flourish

THERE is still room for improvement for England Women Sevens team after they finished ninth in Dubai.
They ended the tournament on a high, however, after being bested by France and New Zealand in the pools, as Deborah Fleming scored in extra-time to earn England a 26-21 win against Ireland in the playoff match.
Heather Fisher and Amy Wilson-Hardy gave Charlie Hayter’s side an early lead but the Irish fought back through a double for Hannah Tyrrell.
