Students deserve praise on their 100th

I READ with interest Brendon Gallagher’s article on Loughborough Students Centenary (November 24).
I may be old-fashioned and, yes, I remember the good old amatuer days, especially Loughborough Colleges as they were known then. They used to come to Kingsholm to play Gloucester on a Wednesday evening in November.
Even though Gloucester always won, the Students would put on a fabulous display of running rugby and score some great tries, drawing huge and generous applause from the Gloucester surporters in The Shed. A happy 100 Loughborough, enjoy it immensely.
