A GAME of two halves, if ever there was one.
Canterbury started with purpose and opened the scoring when the home defence was penalised, Tom Best converting.
Ionians responded with Alex Torkington carrying hard to earn a penalty, Max Titchener tied the scores.
Canterbury continued to have the better of play, benefiting from some wayward kicking from the hosts, and regained the lead when Charles Connolly drove over from close range.
