A LAST-DITCH drive over the line scored by 19-year-old No.8 Ethan Clarke and converted by fly-half Jake Rodgers gave Tynedale a crucial win.
It lifted them above Sheffield Tigers into third in the table and shows their promotion credentials.
Clarke’s try was the third for the Northumberland side after earlier scores by centre Jonny Burden and prop Mike Hughes, while the hoodoo of never beating Tynedale continues for the Tigers.
