Pirates take the spoils with double for Duncan

CORNISH Pirates completed a double at Lady Bay this season in a vastly different style to the one they needed a month ago in a Championship Cup encounter.
Wing Alex O’Meara scored four tries that night in a fluid 42-7 win but this league match needed plenty of brawn from the Pirates to overcome Nottingham.
Captain Tom Duncan led the forward drive to score two tries through trundling mauls while O’Meara had a wet and largely lonely night out on the wing.
