Cherry Blossoms made us fall in love all over again

LITTLE debate needed this week for our jouer de rugby gallant award, which unapologetically goes to the Cherry Blossoms en masse who exited the tournament after their defeat against South Africa last Sunday. As many anticipated it proved a match too far but not since RWC1995 has the host nation lit up the tournament in such an impressive fashion.
And not only did they ignite the tournament they gave the entire Japanese nation something to smile about while typhoon Hagibis left a trail of destruction and death across the country.
