Richards secures win on the road

TYNEDALE secured a tough away win against Sedgley Park thanks to tries by Liam Checksfield and Guy Pike.
From the opening salvos it was clear that defences were going to be on top and the torrential rain certainly had an impact as a lot of mishandling disrupted the early stages.
The score was still 0-0 as it entered the last ten minutes of the first period but Tynedale notched the first try as outside centre Checksfield broke through the Dale defensive line to touch down but injured himself in the process.
