Depressed Reid now on a high for RWC

SCOTLAND loosehead Gordon Reid has revealed that he felt like giving up rugby altogether last Christmas while at London Irish, admitting “I was in a bad place, I was depressed”. Fast forward a few months, his love of the game is back and he is preparing to head off tomorrow to his second World Cup.
Things reached a low point when he was living in London and his family – wife Marissa and daughter Emerson, now 3 –were in Ayrshire.
