Kinghorn: We had to show our critics

BLAIR Kinghorn believes those who were quick to write off Scotland’s World Cup chances after their Nice nightmare may have second thoughts now.
The Edinburgh star had to come off the bench as an early replacement for injured wing Tommy Seymour, and helped inspire the hosts to a fine comeback win at Murryfield.
He insisted: “I’m sure a few people would have been jumping on our backs claiming we have no chance in the World Cup but hopefully this will show we will be a tough team to beat in Japan.
