NEWCASTLE Falcons centre Josh Matavesi has been named in Fiji’s squad for the World Cup.
The 28-year-old has been capped by his country 20 times and is heading to his second World Cup, having been part of the Fijian group during the 2015 tournament in the United Kingdom.
Matavesi has been with the Fiji squad during their recent Pacific Nations Cup campaign and joins brother Sam in the World Cup party, which was announced on Friday in the country’s capital, Suva.
