Hard-man Paul was worth his weight in gold at Neath

PAUL James was one of the hardest men I played with. He could take a punch or kick to the head no problem and still carry on like it hadn’t happened!
I started my rugby career at Neath at a very similar time to Paul and his brother and we quickly became very good friends. We went on to play a lot of rugby together for Neath, the Ospreys, and Wales and had a fair bit of success along the way.
