RHYS Gill insists fellow loosehead prop Rhys Carré can follow in his footsteps and go on to have a huge career as Wales’ World Cup bolter prepares to follow the same path as his mentor.
Gill, who won seven Wales caps, was in exactly the same position as Carre when he made the switch from his home region Cardiff Blues to London giants Saracens in 2009.
At that time Gill had come through the Blues Academy, played for Wales at U16, U18 and U21 levels and played at what was then the U21 World Cup.
