It’s good to see Bill Sweeney start his tenure on an upbeat note by creating certainty over at least the post World Cup position of the England team coaching group.
Taking the decision before any World Cup games have kicked off will relieve some pressure on the coaches and the team, thus giving them both the confidence that their entire England future is not reliant on the outcome of this year’s event.
