MOVING to Exeter in 2007 was the best decision I ever made.
Having failed to break into the Ulster first team and suffering a number of injuries, I’d lost a lot of enthusiasm for rugby. The Ulster captain Simon Best played tight-head and I didn’t feel I’d get anywhere by staying. A spell under Alan Solomons at Belfast Harlequins rekindled my love of the game but it was when I went to the Chiefs that things really took off for me.
