LUCTONIANS secured their spot in National League 2 North next season with a convincing 31-17 win over Blaydon at Mortimer Park.
The Herefordshire outfit never looked out of control in the match that saw them score five tries in front of nearly 1,000 supporters.
Blaydon’s long trip from the North East was something the hosts were keen to press home and did so by racing into a 19-0 lead courtesy of a Josh Watkins brace, in addition to freescoring Drew Cheshire’s solo effort.
