Arrogant and divisive, but Galthie is a winner

THE suggestion that the former France scrum-half and captain Fabien Galthie has been rubber-stamped as French national coach from 2019 to 2023, the year France host the next World Cup, is important for two reasons.
The first is that it means Joe Schmidt, Warren Gatland, Eddie Jones and Sir Clive Woodward can kiss goodbye to any ambitions of coaching Les Bleus, should they have wanted to.
