Victory can’t save Newbridge from the big drop

NEWBRIDGE became the first side to be relegated from the WRU National Championship despite claiming a rare victory.
The Gwent outfit travelled to fellow strugglers Rhydyfelin and came away with a narrow 20-18 victory but that wasn’t enough to maintain their Championship status.
