Quins battle way out of drop zone

THE battle to avoid relegation took another twist with Maesteg Quins moving out of the drop zone with a crucial 28-16 victory over basement boys Newcastle Emlyn.
With four clubs dropping through the trap door, the fight to avoid relegation is even bigger this season but maximum points from the Quins saw them move into mid-table.
