Hat-trick hero lands huge blow in relegation fight

THIS relegation dogfight at Parc y Scarlets was anything but a dour affair as Llanelli ran nine tries past their Gwent opponents.
Cross Keys, despite enjoying periods of possession, could not make an impact, guilty of yielding possession and making errors, with Llanelli taking full advantage.
The home side were dominant, prop Simon Gardiner crossing from a line-out drive after four minutes. Tries followedfrom scrum-half Declan Smith, twice, prop Rhys Fawcett and centre Ryan Davies, with Smith adding two conversions.
