Hartpury hold out as Lyons’ strike flies wide

THERE was tense finale at the Gillman’s Ground where a late try from Nottingham winger Billy Robinson threatened to snatch victory from the home team at the end of a tight encounter.
But Gearoid Lyons’ conversion fell wide and Hartpury were ecstatic to edge the win for four vital league points. Hartpury director of rugby, John Barnes was happy with the outcome and with his team’s performance.
