Late Scrivens penalty settles the Bedwas nerves

BEDWAS took a big step towards safety after edging past fellow relegationthreatened Cross Keys.
Opposing full-backs Carwyn Penny and Joseph Scrivens traded early penalties to get both teams on the scoreboard.
Bedwas fell behind again when numerous handling errors presented Keys with the ball. They then set-up Iwan Burgwin for a tryalthough he had to kick the ball over the whitewash before diving on it.
Penny was on target with the conversion.
