SOUTH African back-row Graham Geldenhuys notched a try double to help Moseley claim a vital win over relegation rivals Loughborough Students.
But they also needed the otherwise pin-sharp visiting kicker Charlie Reed to miss a last-gasp penalty that would have capped a sensational fightback from the basement boys.
Three first-half tries edged Moseley into an 18- 10 lead while Students had hooker Harry Mahoney sent to the sinbin to halt their progress.
