BLACKHEATHsaw their title bid take a hit on Saturday afternoon as Cambridge put in one of the performances of their season so far.
The match started out evenly but Cambridge’s Ben Penfold opened the scoring on 11 minutes, just before Blackheath grabbed their first try through Jake Lloyd after good hands down the line.
Fly-half Joe Tarrant missed the conversion but soon found himself on the scoresheet with a try on 26 minutes – again unsuccessfully converted.
