A DOMINANT performance saw Harlequins defeat historic rivals Richmond FC at The Stoop.

A hat-trick from Jess Breach, doubles from Leanne Riley and Emily Scott, a drop goal from Ellie Green and further scores from Fiona Fletcher and Davinia Catlin secured a comfortable win for the home side in front of over 1200 supporters at The Stoop.

Scrum-half Leanne Riley crossing the whitewash on the third minute as Quins came out flying, Emily Scott converting.

Nine minutes later, Riley went over for her second, before Fiona Fletcher rumbled over from a few metres out after a dominant scrum from the hosts.

Breach then made a halfbreak from inside her own 22 and handed off to Catlin who ran in for a fourth score.

At 35 minutes, Breach opened her own account following a dart down the right touchline.

Just before the interval, Quins scored again through a penalty try.

Breach crossed the line for her second on 62 minutes, before Scott opened her account with a strong individual effort inside the Richmond 22…

Richmond notched their only score then replied with a try of their own through Rowena Burnfield, and former Quin Jess Wooden stepped up to convert.

Breach, responded with another score, simultaneously completing her hattrick and bringing up a half century of points for her side.

Moments later, Ellie Green nailed an opportunistic drop goal before another superb individual effort by Scott capped off a consummate victory.
