I would love to be playing today despite injury scares

Injuries have always been newsworthy in Rugby Union, but these days the increase in them never seems to be out of the headlines. This week a report into training injuries in Eddie Jones’ England camps in 2017-18 produced the statistic that those injured during them were on the sidelines for five times longer than average.
However, if you asked me whether I would like to be a player in today’s game, even with the injuries going up, my answer would be Yes.
