HUDDERSFIELD came out on top after a hardfought victory over Preston Grasshoppers.
The visitors enjoyed the lion’s share of possession in the first half with Hoppers unable to mount any serious attacks, and went ahead through flyhalf Chris Johnson’s drop goal.
Huddersfield continued to pile forward and were rewarded with an unconverted try by Lewis Workman in the corner.
