SEDGLEY Park held on for a narrow victory in a hard-fought end-to-end Christmas cracker against Wharfedale at Park Lane.
Star man Andrew Riley got the hosts off to a flier as he finished off a lovely move to dive over the whitewash between the posts after just two minutes.
Fly-half Stephen Collins then added the simple conversion.
Wharfedale then got over for their first try through lock George Hedgley, who touched down just before half-time.
