Ealing secure top seeding with hat-trick from Cornish

EALING Trailfinders secured top seeding in the Championship Cup after an impressive victory.
Ben Ward’s side scored five tries in the torrential rain to make sure they will host a quarter-final. A hattrick from Matt Cornish as well as tries from Andrew Durutalo and Alex Lundberg gave the west Londoners the win.
Ealing forwards coach Glen Townson said: “The players were very patient and trusted the process which was very pleasing.
“It’s a great step forward and we’re looking forward to returning to league action next week after a successful Cup campaign.”
