World Cup winner forced to call time

LONDONScottish prop Tom Smallbone has reired due to a shoulder injury.
The 25-year-old, who joined Scottish from London Irish in July, said: “It is with great sadness that I have to prematurely call time on my playing career. I feel fortunate I’ve had the privilege of playing for two great clubs, travelled the world and made lifelong friends.”
Smallbone was part of the England U20 side that won the Junior World Cup in 2013.
