RICHARD Wigglesworth did not play badly when he came on for Danny Care in the second half of yesterday’s win over Japan. In fact, it was a trademark Wigglesworth box-kick which Joe Cokanasiga tapped back which ended in the young winger marking his debut with an impressive late try.
There is also no doubting Wigglesworth’s durability because he is still going strong for Saracens at the age of 35 with a record 268 Premiership appearances in the bag. However, it is hard to fathom what Eddie Jones was doing picking him on the bench at Twickenham yesterday.
