Am I the only person who thinks the statement made by RFU CEO Steve Brown in The Rugby Paper, insisting Eddie Jones is safe in his position no matter what happens this autumn through to the World cup, says more about the RFU’s current financial plight than the upbeat article that followed that declaration?
