Wood not giving up on adding to his 50

TOM Wood has not ruled out answering an England injury SOS call this autumn, even though the Northampton Saints ace will begin November in Premiership Cup action.
Wood – who has 50 caps for his country – is used to spending this time of year in camp with England preparing to take on the might of the Southern Hemisphere.
This time it’s different. Wood has recovered from a serious injury suffered against Sale last March, one which still remains something of a mystery to the 31-year-old.
