Kpoku provides a scare for Caldy

THERE was relief at the final whistle as Caldy continued their unbeaten home run despite a spirited second-half comeback by Ampthill.
Caldy’s early pressure kept their visitors hemmed into the final third of the pitch and persistence was rewarded in the eighth minute as a great passing move fed the ball to Mike Barlow, who crossed by the posts.
Ampthill quelled the Caldy pressure as best they could but it was only another eight minutes before Harrison Crowe completed another Caldy move involving a number of players.
