Kriel targets October debut for Gloucester

GLOUCESTER summer signing Jaco Kriel is targeting a return to action at the end of October. The flanker hasn’t played since dislocating his shoulder playing for South Africa against Australia over a year ago.
“The rehab is going well,” Kriel, 29, said. “The staff put me on a strengthening programme because I’ve been out of rugby for more than a year and things are looking up to play at the end of October and I can’t wait.”
