Thomas is forced to bale out his Blues again

THE Welsh Rugby Union’s new regional agreement can’t come soon enough for Cardiff Blues after they were forced to take a £500,000 loan from former chairman Peter Thomas.
Thomas agreed to step down from his role as chairman in June and wrote off the millions he has invested into Wales’ capital region as part of the move.
He kept his seat on the Blues board and took on the role of life president, but his days of funding his beloved team are seemingly not over.
