Chester hit back to see off Macc

CHESTER overcame torrential rain and a battling Macclesfield side to record a convincing victory after a slow start.
Yet it was Macclesfield who opened the scoring with a penalty in front of the posts, which was dispatched by Blues captain Tom Morton.
Macc then extended their lead, centre Peter Board scored a try, after a kick over the top by captain Morton took a fortunate bounce for the Blues and centre Board was the quickest to react. The try was converted by Morton and Macc were on top 10-0.
