Blaydon run riot in bid to bounce back

THEY MAY have just been relegated but Blaydon made their intentions very clear with a massive 94-12 win at home to recently promoted Vale of Lune.
There was a marked difference in class and as far as Vale were concerned the home side’s new 4G pitch did them few favours.
Blaydon ran in a total of 14 tries with Dan Marshall leading the charge with four. Jack Appleton bagged three with Dan Taylor over for two, Jamie Guy landing eleven conversions. Charlie Lomas crossed for both Vale’s tries with Harry Finnan and Will Hunt kicking a conversion apiece.
