Germany are out of two World Cups!

GERMANY have now completed the fiendishly difficult trick of disappearing from two World Cups in the same week. In marked contrast to the hulabaloo over their team’s ejection from the FIFA World Cup, a similar fate in the South Pacific early yesterday morning proved no more than par for the course.
The Samoan Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, was on safe ground when calling for the national rugby team to resign en masse if they dared lose their World Cup qualifier against the Germans in Apia. The PM, who doubles up as chairman of Samoan Rugby, no doubt knew the score.
