Positive signs for World Cup

WOMEN’S SEVENS ROUND-UP
ENGLANDWomen Sevens finished eighth in Paris after a 7-20 loss to Spain in the seventh place final.
They lost their opener on Friday 12-24 to New Zealand, before wins over Ireland (31-12) and Wales (45-12).
Day two day saw a 7-48 loss to France in the Cup quarter-finals, before a narrow 14-19 defeat by Fiji in the fifth place semi-final to set up the Spain game.
England will now look ahead to the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco next month.
