Retiring: Schalk Brits

THE professional game is rightly concerned with the proliferation of serious injuries and must remain ever vigilant on that score, but am I the only one who takes heart from the sight of the soon- to-be-retired Schalk Brits and David Paice still charging around the place?
Brits, now 36, has played nearly 300 senior club games at his various ports of call with almost 150 at Sarries while Paice, 34, has logged 288 for London Irish.
